The UV Select Border command is similar to the Boundary Edges selection, only for UV mapping. It takes the UV's that appear in the UV Texture window and selects the Border around the UV island sections, and also selects the border edges on the geometry in the 3D Model View. This makes it easy to see the way the flattened sections fit together on the mesh geometry.

To use Select Border follow these steps:

1) Create UV's from mesh geometry using the Create UV's tool.
2) On the UV menu, choose Select Border.
3) The borders surrounding the UV's are highlighted in orange on the mesh geometry, and also in the UV view.
